WELCOME
Welcome to the Data Grimoire: where technology meets magic
Discover Maga do BI’s Data Grimoire: a space to share knowledge, experiences, and lessons about data, technology, and careers.

Every great project starts with an idea. Mine started with data, a nickname, and a touch of magic.

Character: Frieren · Series: Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End (Sousou no Frieren).
If you have found your way here, welcome to Maga do BI!
This space grew out of a desire to share knowledge, discoveries, and experiences from the world of data in a lighter, more approachable way.
After all, anyone who works with data knows that turning scattered information into something meaningful can sometimes feel like magic.
Behind every good spell, though, there is plenty of logic, curiosity, study, and a few hours spent figuring out why something that worked yesterday suddenly stopped working today.
What will you find here?
The idea is to turn this blog into a grimoire of knowledge, bringing together content about:
- Power BI: data modeling, DAX, visualizations, performance, and best practices.
- Microsoft Fabric: data engineering, pipelines, Lakehouses, semantic models, and solution architecture.
- Microsoft Azure: services, integrations, and possibilities within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Artificial Intelligence: intelligent agents, automation, practical applications, and new technologies.
- Data Engineering and Analytics: concepts, tools, challenges, and everyday lessons.
- Personal experiences: stories, challenges, achievements, mistakes, and lessons from my journey in technology.
- Career and professional development: tips, questions, learning, certifications, professional choices, and reflections on building a career in data.
And I do not want to stop at theory!
I also want to share practical examples, tutorials, solutions to real problems, and those small discoveries that make a big difference in our day-to-day work with technology.
I also want to make room for conversations about careers, share my own experiences, and explore the questions that come up along the way but do not always have simple answers.
Technology does not have to be overwhelming
One thing I believe is that technical knowledge does not have to be complicated to be valuable.
We can discuss data architecture, query optimization, artificial intelligence, and other technologies without turning every explanation into an unsolvable puzzle.
That is why I want Maga do BI to be a space both for beginners and for people who already work in the field and enjoy discovering new possibilities.
A grimoire that keeps growing
Just like technology, this space will keep evolving.
New tools appear, best practices change, solutions improve, and there is always something new to learn.
That is exactly what makes the data field so interesting: the opportunity to keep discovering, experimenting, and building.
This is only the first chapter of our grimoire.
Until our next adventure!
